So what do I even mean by that? I often run into people who do not look at blogging for their business as something that’s fun to do. Many of them already have jobs, already have roles that the perform for their business. Having to create content just sounds like more work. What’s fun about that?

That’s why I look for different ways to open up and enjoy the thought about creating content for your business. I recently reposted the article – Your Website is an Online Magazine… for Your Industry. These are things I do to help you get a different perspective that might make it more enjoyable for you blog or create content for your business.

Me… Creative?

Is that what you’re thinking? If so, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Many will say to me, “Man, Ted, I’m just not creative.” Although that’s how you might feel… it simply isn’t true. I’m not saying that your a brilliant writer, painter, musician, etc… No. But if you are a human being, you are creative, by nature. That’s just a fact.

Start To Use That Creativity

Think of your next post as an art project. Your next graphic for social media as an art project. Your next podcast episode…. etc.

Put together the words and the media in a way that creatively get’s your message out there. Don’t just put out a bunch of words that, yeah, they make sense, technically, but are they inspiring? Are the motivating? Are the entertaining; exciting…? Start to think of your content in those terms.

Have Fun With This Stuff

Because it can be extremely fun. Create a new post. Use powerful and inspiring photos. Tell stories. Get creative. Remember when you were a kid? Art time in school was something fun that you looked forward to. Think and feel that way about your next post.
