5 Ways To Help You Start Blogging for Your Business

I get it. Unless you just love writing, I understand that the thought of blogging for your business might not be first on your list of favorite things to do. However, man, if you’re really serious about the long game, you really do need to embrace content marketing, blogging for your business.

But, don’t worry. I’m going to give you a list that will hopefully motivate you to get started with this whole blogging thing.

5 Ways To Help You Start Blogging for Your Business

Answer Frequently Asked Questions

I. Answer FAQ

What questions do your customers ask the most? Use those questions as a source of topics for your blog.

Often, a big road block that keeps people from blogging is that they don’t know what to write about. So, just think about the questions you hear the most, about what it is that you do. Because that’s a perfect place to start.

That way, you’re providing valuable content that you already know your audience will find helpful. In other words, just write about the answers to your FAQ, and you’re golden.

II. Find More Sources of FAQ

To followup on number One; look around the web. Find other websites; forums; Twitter, etc… where people are asking questions about your industry. For example, Quora is a great place for this kind of content.

Answer those questions. Again, this is already content that you know people are looking for.

III. Channel Your Passion

Channel your passion for what you do, into your writing. In other words, let your readers; your customers know how much you love your business and what you have to offer people. Consequently, people will feel your passion. That stands out to people and they’ll be more likely to give you their attention.

Are you having trouble finding passion for what you do? Are you sure you have the right gig? If you don’t love what you do, man, you really should think about making a change. If you do that, you’ll be able to create content for days.

Use your phone to dictate your blog posts.

IV. Use Your Phone

I love the current state of WordPress and the changes that came with version 5. Especially, the new block editor. Because, it allows me to use the WordPress app on my phone. I login to the app, start a new post and literally dictate my post using the mic input on my iPhone.

I create posts so much faster this way. Because, this means I don’t have to spend so much time sitting in front of a computer. I can create content while I go for a walk.

Don’t like to type? This is the perfect solution.

V. Embrace this – Blogging for Your Business; It’s Just Something That Needs To Happen.

It really is. Most importantly, it’s crucial for the long term life of your business. Because, building brand is the only thing that’s really going to help you and your business sustain momentum over the years.

Consequently, content marketing is the most effective way for you to build brand. That is to say, blogging is one of the easiest things you can do to help your business survive in the long run. So, just start now. Don’t put it off.

“When it all comes down to it, nothing trumps execution.”

Gary Vaynerchuk

In Conclusion

I hope this has given you some motivation, because, I can’t stress enough how important blogging for your business is. I want you to succeed. Don’t delay any longer. Have fun with this stuff. Use your passion. Get creative. Above all, just start.
